Every NCAA basketball fan has witnessed it.
The game is over, and a new national champion has emerged. And as the rite of passage, the coach ascends a ladder to cut down the net. To the victor go the spoils.
For the past 17 years, that ladder has been a Werner Co.® ladder. This is a significant milestone in the sports partnership. Werner provides the podium ladder for the net-cutting ceremonies at both the Men’s and Women’s Regional and National championship games. It seems only natural that the world leader in ladders was the NCAA choice.
Saturn Lounge was Werner’s choice to make their national television commercial.

Let the games begin
It all started with a storyboard and vision for conquering heights safely. Our team scouted locations across the nation to find the ideal environments to feature. We traveled to Knoxville where a new baseball complex was under construction and to Waukesha for a new home build. Our team produced the shoots and shot photo and video simultaneously, capturing real pros in action doing what they do every day. Drone video provided a view of the heights that pros ascend to complete their jobs—supported by ProDriven Global Brands’ industry-leading fall protection harnesses and ladders.

The footage was then edited into the story. A professional audio session to establish the voice and tone of the story, custom music, and 3D product animations for the end card completed the :30 commercial.

The outcome was always a sure thing
To reach additional audiences during the NCAA tournament, digital assets were developed utilizing images of the real pros at work on their job sites. Headlines were pulled from the commercial script and used to enforce the brand message.
Werner takes the safety of their pros seriously every time they leave the ground.
