Experience the Jewel of Lake Country
French for “My Jewel,” this historic four-story mansion in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin has been exquisitely restored into a charming boutique hotel where modern romance meets timeless elegance. Nestled among five picturesque lakes, our job was to brand the inn, mirroring the ambiance of this lovely landmark with an identity worthy of the experience its guests will enjoy.
Brand Identity
A Brand Rooted in Elegance
Elegance is the operative word in our brand identity for Mon Bijou. With a backdrop of black and white tones, a classic script treatment on the full logo and monogram are perfectly paired with typefaces that exude luxury. Graphic design flourishes that mimic the strokes and curves of the logo are also used to enhance brand identity while maintaining the European sophistication characteristic of the hotel’s appointments.

The structure and interior furnishings are so beautiful, our job of capturing the overall impression the hotel evokes was pure photographic pleasure. Every angle of this magnificent structure is an architectural portrait. Every room, a masterpiece. The grounds are beautifully manicured, and the amenities curated for the perfect luxury getaway.

Interior design
Timeless Design, Modern Flair
Sophistication in unexpected ways, heavy use of floral patterns, and carved details are hallmarks of French country decor. This warm and inviting aesthetic with a distinctly modern flair is the signature of Mon Bijou. To compliment the elevated interior design, the owners wanted a unique art installation, and our designers rose to the challenge. This beautiful, custom-carved piece inspired by floral motifs and an homage to nature’s abundance of exquisite beauty now hangs in the lobby and might be the crown jewel of the hotel.

A Digital Reflection of Elegance and Charm
Once we designed and built the elements for this stunning hotel, we crafted a website that served as both a tourism tool for Oconomowoc and Southeastern Wisconsin and a showcase for Mon Bijou’s charm. The messaging was concise and inviting, with ample white space to reflect the hotel’s bright, airy ambiance. The timeless tone encouraged bookings without revealing too much of the experience, while the imagery and design mirrored the hotel’s elegance, creating a seamless fit with the Mon Bijou brand.
