A PHARMACY WITH A HEART FOR UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES.
Where Milwaukee’s diverse communities once lacked in accessible pharmacy care, Hayat Pharmacy stepped in to address this issue. Now with 19 pharmacies and dispensing centers, Hayat has become the healthcare destination in those areas, offering free prescription delivery, medication packaging, and in-home visits and care across Southeastern Wisconsin. We wanted Hayat to remain a pillar in their community and compete with national players while staying true to its heart. Here’s how we told their story rooted in human connection for a cohesive and unified brand.
Brand Identity & Identity
A Comprehensive Brand Transformation
Not just design, but strategy rooted in research, empathy, and clarity. To gain a comprehensive understanding of who Hayat is, we set out on a mission of deep discovery. We interviewed not only internal leadership and employees, but external providers and partners, and surveyed over 70 patients and caregivers. These insights allowed us to uncover Hayat’s authentic differentiators and consistent themes of caring, trustworthiness, helpfulness, and community-centered support. By mapping the competitive landscape (chains, independents, mail-order pharmacies, and healthcare conglomerates) we clarified Hayat’s unique edge: nimbleness, in-home services, and patient advocacy.
Our process connected these data-driven insights with actionable creative, as we built out an all-encompassing identity and brand guidelines. Hayat now has a refined mission and core values, a compelling positioning statement, and proper visual identity of logos, fonts, colors, photo direction, and language. We pulled from research of Hayat’s target audience and developed three core buyer personas each equipped with their own messaging framework.
The outcome? A unified and future-ready brand prepped for genuine storytelling, targeted campaigns, and a stronger competitive edge, built to scale.

BUILDING TRUST BY CAPTURING A THRIVING COMMUNITY
Not only did we want Hayat to be unified in messaging, but recognizable and trusted as Milwaukee’s community pharmacy. Our recommendation? The power of photo and video. Through four days of shooting stills and video, we built a stronger library of marketing material and brought Hayat’s human connection to life. By showcasing recognizable Milwaukee settings and relatable scenarios, we were able to capture authenticity and genuine care, establishing Hayat as a bigger part of their community.

CARE MADE ACCESSIBLE AND RELIABLE
With Hayat’s mission of serving the community, the new website was built around accessibility and reliability to better reach patients. From early design to content strategy and development, we removed barriers and made essential information easier for everyone to access.
Because a local pharmacy depends on patient privacy and clear access to services, HIPAA-compliant forms were implemented to safeguard sensitive information. An intuitive map was added to help patients quickly find nearby locations, check operating hours, and clarify the services available at each site. Hayat now has a website that strengthens their mission to serve the community with dignity, accessibility, and reliability.
